In all of my lifetime there has been so many things that I have wanted to do, but so many of them have passed me by. If you want to do great things you really have to go out on a limb and go for it. I had a chance to climb Mt Kilimanjaro a couple of years ago, but in the end I just didn’t get round to organising any sponsorship, and by the time I had found the motivation to do it, I had run out of time. It’s not that I am lazy, but I have to own up to being a bit disorganised.
This year I had an opportunity and I was determined that I wasn’t going to miss out. Someone I knew was organising a trip to China top go and see the great wall of china, and I didn’t want to miss this for the world. It is one of the only man made things that you can see from space! It is the sort of thing that if you get a chance to see it, you should do everything in your power to make sure it happens. As soon as I knew about it I told my friend to count me in. I knew I had to act on it now so I immediately went online and bought some flights to China. Once they were bought I had to go! I knew that I was badly organised but those flight tickets were like a ram rod up my back. As soon as I has spent out, all I could think about was the trip!
